Reviews and Ratings
My stay at Camp Mack, now branded by Guy Harvey, was a delightful journey back to old Florida with rustic charm and a vibrant community vibe. The rooms were clean and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day of outdoor adventures. While dining options were great, I did notice some areas that could be improved, especially regarding cleanliness at the camping sites. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for families and anyone looking to enjoy nature, but be prepared for a bit of a drive to nearby towns for extensive dining choices.
The lodge is a clean and comfortable place to stay, perfect for outdoor activities like fishing and airboat rides. The rooms are well-maintained, but there were some service issues during my visit. The location is beautiful with easy access to nature, and dining options at the nearby food truck are great. Overall, it’s affordable, but some amenities could be improved.
My stay at Camp Mack was a delightful experience, offering a nostalgic trip back to the charm of Old Florida. The atmosphere was lively with entertaining music and engaging activities, making it a perfect family-friendly destination. However, booking ahead is crucial if you prefer shaded sites, as they tend to fill up quickly.
During my stay, I found the lodge to be an enjoyable retreat for a family-friendly getaway surrounded by nature. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I loved the friendly atmosphere created by both the guests and the staff. However, the lack of Wi-Fi was a bit inconvenient, and it's worth noting that certain amenities like the food truck had limited hours. Overall, it was a great experience for a rustic escape.
